  • Bosquepiedra is a private native forest reserve located on the south side of Huillinco Lake. It has a beautiful touristic trail of low difficulty and enormous scenic beauty, interesting botanical information displayed on handmade signs. The "Garden of Lichens" is unique, a must for those interested in biodiversity. Here you will enjoy the tranquility of the native forest in solitude. Ideal for bird watchers and nature photographers. Its name "Bosquepiedra" meaning stone forest comes from the rock outcrop along a watercourse, rare geological feature in Chiloé. Hike a trail of 1.6 km by evergreen forest, difficulty meduim/low. Half Day Tour Schedule: 9:30 - 14:00 or 13:00 - 17:30 Visit Lake Huillinco, hike 2,5 hours on Bosquepiedra Trail. In case of booking for 1 person, only 50% must be paid and in case there are more passengers the regular rate of Clp$55.000 per person will be applied, the day of the tour should only pay the difference. Service includes: transfer from Castro, entrance to Bosquepiedra Natural Reserve, qualified guide, snack (mineral water and a biscuit). Does not include restaurant consumption. Rates do not apply to private tours or cruise ship passengers (request by e-mail).

    If the activity is canceled by the customer, SiempreVerde Turismo will refund the indicated percentage of the payment: 90% if notice is given (by email or phone) up to 15 days before the day of the activity. 50% if notice is given up to 7 days 25% if notice is given up to 4 days NO REFUND if notice is given with less than 4 days before the activity.
